The 28-page Insight Personality Instrument test booklet is used to identify the personality style of teenagers and adults. It features the original 40-paragraph personality test developed in 1992. Test takers examine each personality type as they appear in 10 categories then, using a 0 to 4-point Likert scale, assign points to each response. Point totals for each personality type are combined to reveal an individual’s personality spectrum.

This product is designed for individuals who wish to identify their own personality type. Because it takes approximately 20 minutes to complete and self-score this test, it is not designed to be used in a group setting. For groups, the Insight Spectrum Survey™ would be a faster product to use and yields similar results. The Insight Spectrum Survey is contained in the Discovering Your Personality Spectrum Participant Workbook.

After readers complete the test, the remainder of the book presents summary information on each of the four types and offers suggestions on how to enhance your relationships, communicate more effectively, reduce stress and conflict, magnify personal strengths, and successfully motivate others.
