Insights for Couples Report

$ 15.00

This report will help you build better and stronger relationships with Blues, Golds, Greens, and Oranges. It features 40 content-rich pages which describe how each color prefers to interact as friends and spouses. Empowered with this information, you’ll be able to create sensational relationships with anyone you meet!

One of the key elements of a successful relationship is the ability to communicate—to truly understand what your partner is saying and respond to that information in a way that will make sense to your partner. Insight has the power to increase your abilities to be an effective communicator because it provides an immediate understanding of your companion’s communication style.

For example, when a distressed Blue approaches a Green with a personal problem, the analytical Green calmly responds with a perfectly logical solution—after all, that’s what a Green seeks when he or she approaches others with problems. However, chances are that the Blue didn’t really want a solution and only came to the Green for empathy and emotional validation. Instead of getting support, the Blue simply feels demoralized and lectured to, as though the Blue couldn’t have figured things out unaided. As a result, the Blue feels worse and the well-intentioned Green is mystified by the Blue’s inability to accept the gift of a solution.

A proper understanding of personality styles could prevent both the Blue’s anguish and the Green’s bewilderment. When each person understands the viewpoint of the other and tries to respond in a way the other understands and appreciates, true communication takes place. A different example would involve Green’s outward appearance of being cold, distant, and enigmatic to a significant other, especially if they have been together for a long time. The other may feel the Green doesn’t show enough affection, provide enough emotional support, or supply enough energy to the relationship. On the other hand, the Green may find the partner to be too emotional, too dependent, or spending too much time reading between the lines. The Blue may complain, “You never tell me you love me!” And the Green will respond, “I told you when we first married that I loved you. If I change my mind I’ll let you know.”

Imagine what a difference it would make to this relationship if each party truly understood the values and needs of the other. What would happen if the Green tried to do a few more Blue things and the Blue tried to do a few more Green things? What if they both learned to appreciate the unique characteristics and contributions of the other? This understanding would be fundamental in building a tremendously rewarding, long-term relationship.
