Discovery Card Package

Insight Discovery Cards are used to summarize the basic characteristics of each personality type. By showing someone the four cards and letting them pick the one that they most identify with, you are able to get a pretty strong indicator of their primary color. There are three versions of the cards: Adult, Youth and Child.

Adult

Each 5" x 7" card has a photograph on one side showing the kinds of things that each personality like to have or do. On the other side is a summary of the 10 categories of life as found in the Insight Personality Instrument. These cards are suitable for adults and most teenagers. Keep in mind that these cards do not replace the written testing phase and only identify an individual's primary color — not their complete spectrum. These cards are an excellent quick reference to the core attributes of each personality type and are sized to fit most day-planner notebooks.

Youth

These 5" x 7" cards were designed for older children (ages 9-12) as found in grades 4-8. These cards may be used just like the Adult Discovery Cards. Simply distribute a set of cards, explain what the pictures represent, review the text on the back, and have them pick the card that is more like them than any other.

Child

These 5" x 7" cards were designed for younger children (ages 5-8) as found in grades K-3. Keep in mind that children in this age group do not need to know what color they are and what their selection means. This information is for leader, teacher, or parent use only.
